Stephanie Osborn is Senior Executive and Director, Strategy and Partnerships, at the National League of Cities in Washington, D.C. She joined NLC in 2013.
The National League of Cities is dedicated to helping city leaders build better communities and serves as a resource and advocate for the nation’s 19,000 cities, towns and villages. Ms. Osborn is responsible for leading NLC’s membership development, state affiliate relations, and private sector partnerships. Her focus is on organization strategy, member and partner engagement, and revenue strength.
Prior to joining the National League of Cities, Stephanie served on the staff at the National Association of Counties in Washington, D.C., for 13 years, first as Associate Legislative Director and subsequently as Deputy Director, County Services. She previously worked for the American Public Works Association and in the energy and environmental policy field.
Stephanie is honored to have worked for two decades on behalf local governments across the United States. She embraces the imperative of local leadership and believes that today is important time to work in service to the nation’s cities.
Stephanie earned a B.A. in History from the University of Virginia and studied Urban Affairs at American University’s Master of Public Administration program.
